Background
I’m an emerging artist based in the Space Coast region of central Florida in the United States. My husband and I relocated here in 2018 and found the perfect home and studio. My art is strongly influenced by the melancholy and abstract styles. I love creating pieces that people connect with emotionally. It’s thrilling to hear how a piece I created impacts the person studying it.

Tell us about your brand! When did you launch, where are you headquartered, what moved you to start your business?
My art business began in 2021 and I am based in Florida. I was always an artist, but my daughters death on 4/8/21 prompted me to honor her memory by using my art to bring awareness to the grieving process of parents losing children. My family and I very early on realized that grieving parents are quite often silenced due to the fears about losing children to death. I have since interviewed 20 parents about their grief and developed a central canvas of images inspired by those interviews. I’m currently working on individual canvases from those interviews to curate a show that tells the story we all share.
What are some of your other favorite services/apps/tools for managing your social media presence?
Well, Smarcomms has been amazing! I’m also big into using technology such as AI to generate newsletters and posts.
What other methods/strategies did you try in order to address those issues prior to using Smarcomms?
Really, I was just struggling to do it myself and not really getting anywhere at all.
How did you learn about Smarcomms?
Instagram, lol!
How long have you been using Smarcomms?
I just started about a month ago.
What prompted you to move forward with Smarcomms?
Having the freedom from that social media requirement was what sold me.
Have you tried any of our competitors? If so, why did you choose Smarcomms instead?

I’m noticing more engagement on the posts and I’m not having to redirect my creative energies.
Anything else you’re proud to share?
I’m excited with the postings I’m seeing and I have a few big things coming up that I’m excited for the team to get hold of.
Do you have any changes you’d like to see made with Smarcomms? Any ideas for the team?
Not really at this stage. I’m so new to it all that I’m learning what is happening as I write this.
Do you have any advice for other Smarcomms users?
Just take the plunge! It really is worth it to not have to deal with the headache of social media.
What is one thing you want customers to take away from your business? What are you truly selling?
Since I’m an artists, I obviously want to sell these canvases and my commission services. But I also want people to recognize that I’m not a commercial artist, I’m a fine artist. I paint the emotions of what I see and it’s a very intimate process for me.
