Tell us about your brand! When did you launch, where are you headquartered, what moved you to start your business?

I launched my business 36 years ago, before the internet, before email, before social media. I wanted independence from bosses and wanted to pursue my own path. I think it was much harder then than it is now. Advertising and the internet is a God-send to reach people who want my services. And I think we produce a superior service to most architecture firms.

What are some of your other favorite services/apps/tools for managing your social media presence?

I used Facebook for years. It did not yield any results in attracting business, even using ads. But I love Google ads. They have been great. I also work really hard on my website. That has been a great success. In the beginning, people used to call me and say, “We love your articles”. They would hire me because I produce such useful information. I pay a company to work on my SEO now. In the beginning, I used to do it myself. I love my Wix website. It is very easy to manage for me and I can add to it at anytime, day or night.

What other methods/strategies did you try in order to address those issues prior to using Smarcomms?

I tried posting myself all the time and I was a complete failure at this.

How did you learn about Smarcomms?

I think it was a Facebook or Instagram ad.

How long have you been using Smarcomms?

For a couple of months.

What prompted you to move forward with Smarcomms?

I thought it was a reasonable price and would keep eyeballs in front of my messages and work with consistency.

Have you tried any of our competitors? If so, why did you choose Smarcomms instead?


How are you benefitting from using Smarcomms? i.e. 10 hours saved per week, 15 new enquiries from social media etc.

I feel that I can be in front of possible clients without putting out a lot of effort of my own. I have saved hours and hours of work that I can devote to other things.

Anything else you’re proud to share?

I think that the work Smarcomms produces is very graphic and works well for my architecture business which is equally graphic.

Do you have any changes you’d like to see made with Smarcomms? Any ideas for the team?

I would like longer copy and more graphic information on how my projects came about rather than just photos. I am not sure how to tell them to do it, but I think that is what will attract more clients.

Do you have any advice for other Smarcomms users?

Not really, not yet. Ask me again in a few months.

What is one thing you want customers to take away from your business? What are you truly selling?

I am truly selling great design for their buildings, houses, additions, and renovations, but at the same time the ease of getting through the many difficult building departments we have in the Greater Miami area.
