Tell us about your brand! When did you launch, where are you headquartered, what moved you to start your business?

Over 10 years ago while pursuing my interest in photography, I restored and old photograph of my Grandmother taken in 1928. I became fascinated with old photographs and with the creative process of restoring them, and their stories, to new condition. Image restoration became my focus adding the final touch of offering unique and meaningful ways to present these pieces—they are keepsakes for life! I am so touched by people’s reaction when they see their images restored. I also offer a full range of scanning services to help you preserve memories from documents, photos, slides, and more. Another service I love is Art Reproduction. I perform the initial image capture of beautiful original pieces and prepare edition giclee prints for artists wanting to offer their work to a larger audience. I love working with such talented people and am glad to be part of their artistic journey.

What are some of your other favorite services/apps/tools for managing your social media presence?

I have found social media to be very important but have difficulty finding time to keep up with new trends and simply being consistent. I have worked with many services, tried automation, hired individuals, but just never achieved a consistent flow that represented my studio the way I wanted.

What other methods/strategies did you try in order to address those issues prior to using Smarcomms?

I created social media calendars with different post types scheduled for different days of the week and at different times, took classes, read books, listened to podcasts, and still my posts were not going out. I am great at organizing a schedule but that didn’t get content created!

How did you learn about Smarcomms?

I found Smarcomms while searching for a Social Media Assistant.

How long have you been using Smarcomms?

I have been using Smarcomms for less than a year but the results speak for themselves. I finally have consistent, interesting, posts that provide leads and represent my business properly.

What prompted you to move forward with Smarcomms?

I tried Smarcomms because of the great reviews.

Have you tried any of our competitors? If so, why did you choose Smarcomms instead?

I am not sure

How are you benefitting from using Smarcomms? i.e. 10 hours saved per week, 15 new enquiries from social media etc.

Not only does this service save me time, it does the job far better than I could.

Do you have any changes you’d like to see made with Smarcomms? Any ideas for the team?

I feel that a 15 minute phone call was not enough to adequately intruduce me to your software and services. I was very frustrated to have to fumble around the Smarcomms interface. I feel strongly that better communication is needed between Smarcomms and the client. Often I send information and then find out later it was not read. I have had to ask the same question multiple times before getting an answer.

Do you have any advice for other Smarcomms users?

Ask for a walk through of the software make sure you are clear on how to communicate with the Smarcomms team.

What is one thing you want customers to take away from your business? What are you truly selling?

I offer services that create heirlooms and preserve family history.

I help artists share their work with a broader clientele, making their beautiful art available to everyone.
