Tell us about your brand! When did you launch, where are you headquartered, what moved you to start your business?

Carbonite Exchange was launched in February 2022 from Eagle Mountain, UT shortly after me and my wife discovered we were pregnant with our first child. As we had been discussing future plans with the baby coming in mid August we determined that we needed to start some things that we could do from home so that my wife could remain home with our daughter, and so Carbonite Exchange was born! After several months of various ideas and options being tried and discarded we finally landed on what is now our stores main theme, a place to find something for everyone on your list. A family centered gift store that we hope to build out into a place you can go to find precious memories and moments you can share with your loved ones. We started with gift card jewelry making heartfelt messages and gorgeous jewelry combinations to help you tell others how you really feel, and from there we’ll go as far as we can to make products that our customers will love to give to their family and friends and those family and friends will cherish for years to come!

What are some of your other favorite services/apps/tools for managing your social media presence?

I’ve attempted a few of the shopify integrations and meta business management apps in the past to manage my social media. None of them stuck out well enough for me to remember their specific names though. Smarcomms is the first one I’ve been happy with.

What other methods/strategies did you try in order to address those issues prior to using Smarcomms?

I tried creating and scheduling content in advance following online tutorials for social media posts, and just setting aside time to work on that specific thing.

How did you learn about Smarcomms?

I was searching Google for social media creation solutions and came across their website.

How long have you been using Smarcomms?

Almost a month now.

What prompted you to move forward with Smarcomms?

The package and capability of the program fit really well with what I was looking for to boost my social media presence.

Have you tried any of our competitors? If so, why did you choose Smarcomms instead?

I have not. Smarcomms was the first one I tried after looking at what they had to offer.

How are you benefitting from using Smarcomms? i.e. 10 hours saved per week, 15 new enquiries from social media etc.

Smarcomms saves me hours each week designing, editing, and creating posts to bolster my social media presence.

Anything else you’re proud to share?

I’ve only been using smarcomms for a few weeks but I’ve already seen a large increase in traffic and I’m happy to say I’ve even received compliments on the work they’ve posted.

Do you have any changes you’d like to see made with Smarcomms? Any ideas for the team?

So far as my current needs are concerned the program is working beautifully.

Do you have any advice for other Smarcomms users?

Don’t forget to proof read the posts and approve them yourself. As amazing as the team is people can make mistakes and if they put in the work to design something awesome for you you should put in the time to do a final edit and don’t be afraid to let them know of any changes you want to make. Your page is still the reflection of your business and so you need to help the team to make sure your posts carry your voice to your followers.

What is one thing you want customers to take away from your business? What are you truly selling?

I’m selling connection. I want you to know that you can always come to my store and find the perfect thing to give to the people you love.
